What is Medical Qigong?
Qigong (also spelled Ch’i-kung) is a Chinese system of movements, breathing exercises, and focused intention that help cultivate energy and promote health. Simply put, it is meditation in motion.
Medical Qigong is when a practitioner applies Qigong to medical therapy. The practitioner becomes a conduit for moving energy with focused intention for the patient. Patients often remark they feel changes in their body both physically and emotionally.
Qigong is based on the idea, “where the mind goes, the Qi flows.” In other words, your intention guides your energy to make desired changes.
Currently, China uses medical Qigong to treat all medical conditions.
